Ronnie Evans – Percussionist
Ronnie Evans, a native of Rocky Mount, NC, discovered his passion for music at the tender age of 6. Growing up in a musically talented family deeply rooted in their church community, Ronnie was inspired by their devotion as church musicians. At an early age, Ronnie began honing his skills as a drummer, drawn to the rhythmic heartbeat of music.
In 2019, Ronnie found a spiritual home at New Life, where he soon found himself immersed in the music ministry. Joining as a percussionist in 2022, Ronnie’s dedication to serving in ministry through music only continued to flourish.
Today, as a cherished member of Mercy Street Worship, Ronnie finds pure joy in using his musical talents to praise and worship God. With each beat of the drum, Ronnie shares God’s message of love and hope, touching the hearts of all those he encounters. His commitment to both music and ministry serves as a beacon of inspiration, illuminating the path of faith for others.
